ReSkate is a community project created by third-party contributors. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Electronic Arts or Full Circle, the publisher and developer of skate.. All game names, logos and related marks are the property of their respective owners and are used here only to describe the project.

You must own the game

ReSkate does not include any game files. You need your own legitimate copy of skate. on Steam, and a Steam account, to use it. ReSkate downloads only the files it needs from your own game installation or Steam account.

Licensing

ReSkate's own source code is free software under the GNU General Public License v3 (GPL-3.0). Third-party libraries and fonts keep their own licenses, and game content, logos and assets belong to their respective owners. Community mods belong to their authors and are distributed through their own channels.

Risks and responsibility

Using ReSkate may carry risks, and you accept them by using it:

  • Terms of service. Modding and offline play may conflict with the game's EULA or terms of service. You are responsible for understanding and following the rules that apply to you.
  • Account risk. Bypassing DRM or online checks, or using modified or ported content, can carry copyright and account-ban risk.
  • Copyright. Porting assets from other games or works may infringe third-party rights. Only use content you have the right to use.
  • Security. Mods can change game data, and script mods can run code. Only install mods you trust.
  • No warranty. ReSkate and this site are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. Data loss, crashes and incompatibilities can occur.

Responsibility for using ReSkate, and for any consequences, sits with the user.

Community content

The ReSkate community distributes content mods only. Mods that unlock paid content or contain DLL/EXE files are not allowed on the main channels. This site does not host or redistribute game files or mods; it links to the creators' and communities' own pages.

If you are a rights holder and believe something referenced here is used improperly, contact the project through its GitHub repository and we will address it.
